Free career session for high-schoolers to explore ways to make the right career choice

Wonder how you can plan and prepare for your future career? Feel unsure how to choose a profession that is right for you? To help you with these difficult questions, Bangalore based social enterprise, is conducting a free online session for students on Friday, February 25th, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM IST.

The session offers tools that you could use to learn about your interests and interact with two industry professionals to learn about their careers.



Get equipped with best practices to explore career choices that match your interests, potential and skillset.


Interact with professional Psychologists, and a Biotechnologist to learn about their careers.


By the end of the 60-minute session, gain practical tips and resources to help you make informed choices.


Team Saantvan (Psychologists)

Saantvan is a team of qualified Psychologists who have experience in conducting psychological assessments for individuals, adolescents, and adults. Started by Minal Mohite and Surbhi Joshi, the Mumbai based psychologists are both trained counsellors who are passionate about the field of mental health in India.


Mrs. Sheena K. B

With a B.Tech in Biotechnology, Calicut University (2nd rank) and an M.Tech Gold medalist in Environmental Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, Mrs. Sheena is currently working as an Assistant professor at the Institute of Fisheries Biotechnology. Prior to this, she has worked at Hindustan Petroleum Green R&D Centre, Bangalore on a project related to biofuels and has also volunteered at Teach for India to provide quality education to the less privileged.

With a passion for teaching, Ms Sheena has started her own YouTube channel- ‘Comprehend Biotech’ with an aim to make learning Biotechnology a happy process! Inspired by this same thought, she plans to share her knowledge, skills, and learnings online with a few students – an experience she wishes she had when in junior college.

How much does it cost?

The session is absolutely free for parents and students. Invitation details with Zoom link will be shared with the participants 2 days before the session.

Who is eligible?

The session is for students who are studying in grades 9 to 12 that are curious or confused about their career decision. Parents are welcome too, however, the session is planned for students.

When is the session?

The session is planned on Zoom for Friday, February 25th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM IST.
