Professor Dr. Sujit Nair to provide an online Career Mentorship for students (13-to-18-year-olds) who are curious about a Career in Biology or wish to explore the professional world of Biotechnology.
The program will lay a solid foundation for discovery of biology research that is the cornerstone for translational medicine and will touch base upon key concepts in biotechnology research that will equip the student for a career in Biomedical Sciences. The program includes a Capstone Project in Bioinformatics (to be performed individually) as well as an individual Capstone Certification on Clinical Trials from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), USA.

Meet your Mentor
Dr. Sujit Nair
Dr. Sujit Nair, a Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Mumbai has more than 20 years of teaching and cancer research experience. A Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Rutgers, he has published extensively in international journals and has over 2500 citations on his work. He is also an Editor for several international journals. Dr. Sujit has mentored pharmacy, life sciences, and biotechnology students over the years on their future career options in India and abroad, either in the research field or in the MBA track, both in the biopharmaceutical industry and in academia.
With the belief that it is important to ignite young minds for the future of India, Dr. Sujit is looking at educating students (13-18-year-olds) online about careers in Medical Biotechnology where he plans to share his knowledge, skills, and learnings with a few students curious about Biological Sciences.

Note: This is a Mentorship Program majorly for high-school students (13-to-18-year-olds) to explore a career in Biotechnology. Using this Mentorship certificate to treat patients is strictly prohibited. Most of our alumni students could use the certificate to apply to colleges, Résumé, or to strengthen their job portfolio.

How much does the Mentorship cost?
The fee for the Career Mentorship in Biotechnology with Dr. Sujit Nair is Rs. 20,000/-. Students who apply before May 10th receive a scholarship, reducing the program cost to just Rs. 16,550/- (all inclusive).
Selection for this program is based on the application form and phone interview round. The fee is only to be paid once the applicant is selected for this mentorship program.

The Biotechnology Career Mentorship with Dr. Sujit Nair is planned from June 14 to July 19, every Tuesday and Friday, 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM IST. Career Mentorship Program will only be conducted with a minimum participation of 20 students per batch. Students can apply for the program by simply filling out the application form. The fee is to be paid only after the seat is confirmed.
