About STEMforce
STEMforce is a three week FREE virtual Mentorship program for underprivileged students (16 years and above) in India that are unsure about their career pathways, but have the ambition to make a difference with their lives. Participants learn key skills ranging from Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) to Financial Literacy, meet experienced professionals from Salesforce for career mentoring and work on an impact-driven business idea that aims to solve a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UN SDG).

Salesforce is partnering with Unherd India for its flagship initiative, ‘STEMforce’ that will connect 20 college-bound students from underprivileged communities of India to resources and experiences that will aim to help them become career-ready professionals. Through virtual mentorships, career guidance and experience-based learning, Salesforce hopes to build the next generation of trailblazers, innovators and change-makers who would use their learnings to solve some of the toughest problems facing the world.

When is STEMforce?
STEMforce is an after-school online program scheduled from July 1st, 2021 to July 23rd, 2021 from 3 PM to 5:30 PM IST on most days.
How much does it cost?
The program is completely FREE to attend for all selected participants.
Who is eligible to attend?
STEMforce is for students (16 years and above) from low-income communities and schools based in India. Participants must be able to communicate in basic English, be familiar with technology and most importantly, have a strong desire to learn. Our past participants are curious, driven and ambitious to make the world a better place.
What materials or equipments will I need?
A computer, or laptop with audio and video capabilities, headphones (suggested), and internet access would be required for the sessions. Unherd will provide need-based internet/tech access for participating students.
